Day 3: Popsicle Stick Snowflake and Star

I have so many Popsicle sticks so this was a great way to use them up. I also have two more Popsicle craft to share so don’t use them all up on this one craft.

What You Need:

Popsicle Sticks
Hot Glue Gun
Paint, Marker or Crayon (Optional)
Glitter or Glitter Glue (Optional)
Ribbon

Using the photo below, glue your Popsicle sticks to make a snowflake and a star. The star was a little tricky to make but I figured it out. If you are having trouble making the star, here is a website that shows you a step by step process to make it.

Once it dries you can leave it as is or paint it, I painted my sticks I went with Key West (Apple Barrel) for the snowflake and Wild Iris (Apple Barrel) for the star. You can paint them before gluing if you want.

After the paint dries you can leave them as is or decorate them with glitter, acrylic jewels, buttons, etc. I used gold and silver glitter glue pens to make dots on the snowflake and wavy lines on the star.

I still need to do this part but glue on a piece of ribbon to the back and hang it on your tree.

***I will add a picture of it hanging in my tree once my tree is set up.***
