Since I had so many yellow flowers left over from centerpieces I made for my grandmother’s birthday last year. I made a simple floral arrangement to give for her birthday this year.

Floral Wreath

Last year I was in charge of making centerpieces for my grandma’s birthday and when the party was over I ended up with all the centerpieces which included tons of yellow flowers. Keep reading to see what I did with some of the flowers.

What You Need:

Metal Wreath Frame
Assorted Flowers
Floral Tape
Hot Glue Gun/Sticks
Wire Cutters

Sport Centerpieces

During the summer I was asked to make some centerpieces for a friend’s son birthday and the theme was sports. So of course I began searching on Pinterest and on the internet.

What You Need:

Coca Cola Glasses
Foam Sport balls
Foam Sheets (I used red)
Sport Clip-art Players
Photo of child (optional)
Wooden Dowels
Card Stock Paper
Scissors
Hot Glue Gun
Glue Stick
Peanuts, Sun Flower Seeds and Bubble Gum

Sugar Skulls

I found some skulls and skull door knockers at Dollar Tree last year and I decided to buy a few to paint and make sugar skulls.

What You Need:

  • Skulls
  • Paint
  • Paint Brushes
  • Optional: Anything else you would like to use to decorate (flowers, acrylic jewels, ribbon, glitter, etc)

Glass Candle Holder

I made this a few years ago after seeing it done on mason jars, click here. I actually made two but one broke 😦 This is very simple and doesn’t cost much to make.

What You Need:

  • Glass Candle Holder or Mason Jar
  • Fabric of your choice
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Water
  • Small bowl
  • Candle
